Reef Plan funding opportunities

The Reef Plan is delivered through a range of projects led by government agencies, peak industry groups, and regional natural resource management (NRM) bodies. The joint Australian and Queensland Government Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) program Funds the delivery of many on-ground activities which contribute to the Reef Plan’s goal and objectives.

Regional NRM bodies may provide incentives to implement practices which result in improved water quality. See Who is involved for further information about the regional NRM bodies.

Incentives database

A database of incentives has been developed to encourage Queensland land managers, community groups and regional NRM bodies to undertake natural resource management activities.

The incentives are offered by local councils, regional NRM bodies, and Queensland and Australian Governments.
