Background to the Prime Minister and Premier of Queensland

PM&P report cover The Reef Plan requires two formal evaluation reports following independent audits (one in 2005 and another in 2010) on progress relating to implementation. These are to be provided by the Reef Plan Intergovernmental Steering Committee (ISC) to the Great Barrier Reef Ministerial Council.
The Reef Plan also requires:

the Great Barrier Reef Ministerial Council to provide the reports with recommendations to the Prime Minister and the Premier for their consideration.
the reports to be forwarded to the Natural Resource Management Ministerial Council for information.

The 2005 Report on the formal evaluation into the progress of the Reef Plan is now available.
