National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP)
The National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP) tackles two major natural resource management (NRM) issues facing Australia's rural industries: regional communities, and our unique environment. Within this progam, the Australian and Queensland Governments are working with communities to find local solutions for local problems.
Natural Heritage Trust
This National Heritage Trust (the Trust) encourages community, local government and industry stakeholders to work together through the regional natural resource management (NRM) bodies to address NRM issues.
National Landcare Program
The National Landcare Program (NLP) encourages land managers to undertake landcare and related conservation works by supporting collective action by communities to sustainably manage the environment and natural resources.
Queensland Wetlands Programme
The Queensland Wetlands Programme is supporting the implementation of Reef Plan by developing information and resources to assist community and government in making decisions about the management of Queensland’s wetlands.
