Community groups

Community groups are an integral part of delivering Reef Plan. Groups such as Landcare, Bushcare, Coastcare, Rivercare and Catchment Management groups are important participants in a range of Reef Plan actions.

Many of these groups are now working closely with regional natural resource management (NRM) bodies in Reef catchments to implement regional NRM plans and investment strategies. These plans and strategies are helping to implement Reef Plan.
