Indigenous groups

Reef Plan processes recognise that Indigenous people access and are involved in the management of land and sea country. Reef Plan partners work with Indigenous groups such as land and sea management groups to help implement the strategies and actions within the Reef Plan.

Indigenous communities are working in partnership with the Australian, state and local governments and with regional communities to address natural resource management issues.
