The success of the Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan is monitored through:

  • Paddock to Reef Integrated Monitoring, Modelling and Reporting Program
    The Paddock to Reef program provides the framework for evaluating and reporting management practice adoption and effectiveness, catchment condition, pollutant run-off and marine condition.
  • Report cards
    Annual report cards measure progress towards the targets.
  • Methods
    Information about how the key indicators are measured.
  • Action reporting
    Six-monthly updates detailing progress with implementing the actions in the Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Outcomes
    The Delivering Reef water quality outcomes publication shows that project outcomes are driving progress towards the targets.
